ZOONIES

Princess Meher Zoon (of the Moon) lived in the Mughal empire during the 16th century. At an early age Emperor Akbar appointed her Captain of his Imperial Guard and awarded her custody of the mighty “Zulfiqar”, the legendary and mystical double-bladed sword of divine providence originally given to Hazrat Ali by the Arch Angel Gabriel.

On one of her earlier missions in service of her Ummah, she confronted the Demon Sufaid Dev. Upon vanquishing the Demon with Zulfiqar, fantastical aurora lights crisscrossed the entire night sky and tens of thousands of illuminated coin sized tokens came raining down all around the princess. Each mystical token had emblazoned on it one of the 99 mighty attributes that maintain the Universe and all within it. Princess Zoon was to discover that whenever she would press one of these tokens upon another person, the recipient would immediately be imbued by that attribute and would exhibit it towards Zoon and whomsoever he or she would come into contact with from that moment on.

During the ensuing decades, Princess Zoon would accompany the spiritual master, Amir Hamza, on hundreds of adventures spanning time and the ends of the world. These exploits are detailed in what is now commonly referred to as the “Hamzanama”.

For her heroic and valiant exploits in the service of her people, … upon his deathbed Emperor Akbar appointed Princess Zoon (of the Moon) Queen and Vicegerent over the Mogul Empire’s Valley of Kashmir. In later life, her poetry became as widely circulated and as well-known as her mighty adventures.

Some speculate that her spirit is still amongst us till this day and that her mystical tokens (Zoonies) continue to circulate amongst the righteous.
